Far East Christmas

This Christmas collection took a lot of inspiration from Far East, using original 1920s kimono patterns. Its influences show in the choice of accessories, selection of embellished fabrics and combination of simplicity and extraordinary skilful craft.

Inspiration for the shoot as well as the book, came from studying this collection very closely, taking from Far East art of gift-wrapping – furoshiki, as well as celebrating organic patterns appearing on the garments.

The model was carefully picked and her unique beauty complemented the shoot mixing Western and Far East tradition in this unique look-book.

Inspirations & development

Festival of colours, beauty of giving, celebration of the special moment is carefully balanced with mix of black and white imagery, composed to showcase this beautiful collection.

Photography was taken in a studio with carefully designed backdrops created by altering collection textile patterns.

The final product, a beautiful book printed on snow white paper showcased this stunning collection.
